Competencies mobilization 

This program consists of identifying our highly qualified citizens residing abroad who wish to contribute and get involved in the development of their country of origin.  

Interest 

Interest in this program finds justification in : 

• The existence of an extremely favorable environment that resulted from the combination of several factors such as the ever growing number of highly skilled Moroccans residing abroad (MRA) who are willing to contribute to the development of their country of origin ;  
• The numerous large-scale sectorial projects undertaken in Morocco ; 
• The willingness of the government to encourage such participation. 

Objectives 

• Provide the Moroccan competencies established aboard with a framework that informs them about opportunities for their involvement ; 
• Helps them initiate partnerships with public and private Moroccan sectors ; 
• Develop these partnerships to reach strategic cooperation levels. 

Implementation 

The adopted approach is to support and assist the structuring of thematic networks (Medical competencies abroad, Moroccan Journalists abroad, Moroccan Lawyers abroad, Moroccan competencies in aeronautics living in Canada…) and geographical networks (Germany, Canada, United States, switzerland, France…). 

Geographic networks 

These networks bring together men and women of Moroccan descent, born or residing in host countries, who belong to different branches of professional activities (information and communication technology, automotive industry, research, teaching, education, liberal professions, etc …). 

The objectives of these networks are to channel and direct energies towards a sustainable development in Morocco and facilitate the integration of Moroccan citizens in the host country.  

Thematic Networks 

These networks consist of a group of professionals in a given field of activity. They are formed at the initiative of Moroccan professionals established abroad in relevant fields to achieve three main goals; offer their services and know-how to their compatriots living in the same host country, exchange information and experiences between professionals worldwide, and establish partnerships with their counterparts in Morocco in research, training, technical assistance and expertise.
