Guinea expressed on November 24th, its full support for the peaceful, legal and non-offensive action carried out by the Royal Armed Forces in the buffer zone of El Guerguarat.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Guineans Abroad expressed on behalf of the Guinean government “its full support for the peaceful, legal and non-offensive action carried out by the Royal Armed Forces to definitively prevent these illegal actions, which go against international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions”.
The same statement also recalls “the sovereignty of the Kingdom over all of its territory” and condemns “any illegal attempt to change the status quo in the buffer zone of El Guergarat”.
