The Delegate Minister in charge of Moroccans living abroad Mrs. Nezha El Ouafi received His Excellency Mr. Armando BARRUCCO Ambassador of Italy in Morocco on Wednesday May 5th, 2021 at the Ministry’s headquarters.

In this meeting both parties affirmed the common willingness to strengthen the distinguished relations between the two countries and further discuss the ways to promote collaboration as to the mobilization of Moroccan skills living in Italy and the legal coordination as regards issues of the Moroccan community in Italy.
This meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the social protection agreement signed between Morocco and Italy and study the means to reinforce it and carry it out. His excellency pointed out the efficient role played by Moroccans living in Italy on the economic level and their smooth integration into the Italian society.  
The Delegate Minister, on her part, pointed out the efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco under the enlightened guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to apply the national strategy for Moroccans living abroad and the national strategy of migration and asylum. Both parties agreed on continuing the implementation of bilateral collaboration.
